Content, Community Development, Strategic Partner

I was part of the founding team who developed the NGO Ho’ola Na Pua into a sustainable organization educating millions and advocating for abused youth. We raised 15+ Million for the development of Pearl Haven, a residential treatment facility.

Along with strategic leadership I developed the business model, community, brand guidelines, logo, business infrastructure, and communications plans.

I routinely assist start up enterprises with business strategy and content development. While I attempt to develop deeper metrics than views and clicks (often vanity metrics), I have routinely established frameworks that do deliver on those fronts. Social posts and communities that routinely deliver thousands to millions of engagements.

FILMMAKER

I am a filmmaker by trade and have had the distinct honor of premiering films at Sundance, Venice Days, and AFI and am a Sundance and Berlinale Fellow.

THIS IS MARTIN BONNER

In this Sundance Award Winning film we discover two men each searching in their quiet solitude to begin a new life amidst an unspoken need for encouragement and support.

MA

In this Venice Days premiere, AFI Breakthrough Audience Award, and Sarasota Independent Vision Award winner a woman crosses the scorched landscape of the American Southwest.

Reinvented and told entirely through movement, the film playfully deconstructs the role of this woman, who encounters a world full of bold characters that are alternately terrifying and sublime.

DOCUMENTARY

TEETH

Teeth chronicles a moment in the life of Angelica who is healing from the trauma of being abused throughout her youth. Filmed on the island of Oahu, this story sheds a tiny sliver of light onto the problem of sexual and physical abuse.

In her words, “Three things have replaced my misery, Faith, Hope, and Aloha … and the greatest of these is Aloha”.
